Day One

TEACHING THE SKILLS - an on-the-court peer interactive session to jump in & get your "teaching feet" wet.

CADRE OBSERVATIONS, EVAL. & FEEDBACK - a session continuing where TEACHING THE SKILLS leaves off …the experts give you their take.

MOTOR SKILL LEARNING THEORY - a classroom session to improve your teaching of the game, based on proven scientific principles of teaching & learning.

COACHING PHILOSOPHY, CODE OF ETHICS & LEGAL DUTIES - a classroom session helping you develop & refine your own coaching philosophy, based on ethical coaching behavior and current legal concerns.

FUNdamentals of BASIC CAP LEVEL I SKILLS - an on-the-court session covering tips for teaching the keystone skills of Serving, Overhead Passing, and Attacking; the more you participate, the better you'll learn & retain…just like your athletes!

DRILL DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION - starts in the classroom then may move to the gym. Learn the secrets of designing meaningful, effective drills & competitive games that have direct application to YOUR team & YOUR training situation!

PRACTICE PREPARATION & EXECUTION - a classroom session to help you design & implement effective practices within the framework of your team's season

Day Two

Currently Included Module Topics (selection per course site may vary): choose A or B from each time session.

Session B : Intro to Passing, Digging and Individual Floor Defense Techniques

 

Included Module #2

Session A : Intro to Offense System Organization

Session B : Intro to Middle Attack Techniques

Session B : Intro to Serve Receive System Organization

Current Additional Elective Module Topics (selection per course site may vary): choose A or B from each additional time session following the lunch break. These sessions require an additional fee per module.

Day One

DEVELOPING GUIDING PRINCIPLES - a classroom, peer-interactive session designed to get you thinking about the how & WHY you do the things you do in your practices.

DEVELOPING TEAM SYSTEMS OF PLAY - a classroom session focusing on applying the knowledge gained in the CAP Level I Modules on Team Systems to your team.

BUILDING THE SR OFFENSE (Gym)- an on-the-court session concentrating on applying the knowledge gained in the CAP Level I Serve Receive System Organization Module to training your team.

BUILDING TEAM DEFENSE: BLOCKING & FLOOR DEF - an on-the-court session concentrating on applying to your team the knowledge gained in the CAP Level I Defensive System Organization & Individual Defense Modules to training your team.

TEAM BUILDING -- COHESION, COMMUNICATION and TRUST - starts in the classroom then may move to the gym. Learn the secrets of designing meaningful, effective strategies to build your team into a solid competitive unit … that have direct application to YOUR team & YOUR training situation!

OUT-OF-SYSTEM SYSTEMS - an on-the-court session helping you plan team strategies for when things DON'T go as planned & practiced, & expected.

TEAM DRILLS: TEACHING THE SYSTEMS - an on-the-court session to help you design & implement effective game like drills to train your teams to USE the systems you've designed; learn how to run some of the best designed team drills out there.
