2007 NORCECA MEN'S CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
USA Volleyball and the City of Anaheim, Calif., are hosting the 2007 NORCECA Men's Continental Championship. (Aug. 30, 2007) -- USA Volleyball has announced the 18-player pool it will use for the NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship on Sept. 16-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena. From these 18 players, U.S. Head Coach Hugh McCutcheon (Christchurch, New Zealand) will choose the 12-man roster that will compete at the championship. The top two finishing teams at the NORCECA Championship will qualify for the FIVB World Cup. The top three finishers at the World Cup will qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. More
The eight teams competing at the NORCECA Championships have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Barbados, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States. Group B consists of Canada, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Trinidad & Tobago. More
