2007 NORCECA MEN'S CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
NORCECA Men's Continental Championship.

USA Volleyball and the City of Anaheim, Calif., are hosting the 2007 NORCECA Men's Continental Championship.
The top two finishing teams will qualify for the 2007 FIVB World Cup in Japan.
The top three finishers at the World Cup qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

The tournament takes place Sept. 16-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena in Anaheim, Calif. The host hotel is the Hilton Anaheim.

(Aug. 30, 2007) -- USA Volleyball has announced the 18-player pool it will use for the NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship on Sept. 16-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.

From these 18 players, U.S. Head Coach Hugh McCutcheon (Christchurch, New Zealand) will choose the 12-man roster that will compete at the championship. The top two finishing teams at the NORCECA Championship will qualify for the FIVB World Cup. The top three finishers at the World Cup will qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. More

(Aug. 22, 2007) -- USA Volleyball and the City of Anaheim have announced the schedule for the 2007 NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship, taking place Sept. 16-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.

The eight teams competing at the NORCECA Championships have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Barbados, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States. Group B consists of Canada, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Trinidad & Tobago. More

(Aug. 8, 2007) -- USA Volleyball and the City of Anaheim have announced that Anaheim will host the 2007 NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship on Sept. 16-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena. The NORCECA Championship is the first step in qualifying for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

The top two finishers at the NORCECA Championship automatically qualify for the FIVB World Cup, on Nov. 18-Dec. 2 in Japan. The top three finishers at the World Cup will be the first teams to qualify for the 2008 Olympics (along with host country China). More
