INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: 2007 – Helped the U.S. men win the bronze medal at the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand. 2005 – Played on the USA Junior National Team that finished eighth in the 2005 FIVB Men's U-21 World Volleyball Championships in Andhra Pradesh, India.
COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS: 2008 – Named AVCA Co-Player of the Year along with Penn State’s Matt Anderson… AVCA First Team All-American… Led Long Beach State to NCAA men’s semifinal where it lost to Pepperdine… MPSF Player of the Year… Averaged 5.46 kills per game while hitting .330 on the season… Led the nation in aces with 60, was tied for second in points per game with 6.47, and his 5.46 kills per game earned him the No. 3 spot in that category.
