Position: Libero MAJOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: 2007 – None INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2007 – None COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS: Busboom moved from setter to libero in 2006 and helped lead Nebraska to its third NCAA Division I national title as the top-ranked team wire-to-wire. Along the way, she set a school single-season record with 580 digs in 2006 and was named Big 12 Co-Libero of the Year with a conference-high 5.04 digs per game. She totaled a career-high 29 digs in the NCAA semifinals against UCLA on Dec. 14, 2006. Busboom, a four-year starter who helped NU to a 124-10 record, was selected AVCA All-Central Region honorable mention as a setter during her sophomore campaign. She was plugged into a 6-2 system as a junior in leading the Huskers to a national title match in 2005. In 2003, she tallied the second-highest total assists (700) by a Husker freshman after splitting time in a 6-2 offense.
