MAJOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: 2003 – Colorado/Nebraska Tour… Canada Tour…Pan American Games ( Fourth Place). 2002 – Dallas Tour…Six-Nation Tournament ( Italy)… Louisville Tour… Bulgaria Tour… Greece Tour…World Championships. 2001 – World Championship Qualifying.

INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2002 – Saw extensive action during the season as an outside hitter and middle blocker…Played in 98 of a possible 141 sets…Finished the season second on the team in stuff blocks with 32…Also ranked third on the team in hitting percentage (.396) with 97 kills and 21 errors in 192 total attempts and was fifth on the team in service aces with 20…Seventh on the team in total points (149)…Also had 29 digs. 2001 – Saw limited action as a member of the U.S. Men’s National Volleyball Team at the World Championship Qualifying tournament…Finished with six kills in nine attempts for a hitting percentage of .556…Added two digs, one block and one service ace.

COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS: 2001 – Helped guide BYU to it second men’s volleyball championship with a sweep of top-ranked UCLA…Earned AVCA first-team All-America honors…Also named to the all-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation first team…Ranked second in the nation in blocks per game at 1.79 and 11th nationally with a .415 attack percentage…Recorded 2.15 kills and 1.02 digs per game for the Cougars. 2000 – Earned AVCA second-team All-America and all-MPSF second team honors…Led the team in total blocks (178), blocks per game (2.05) and service aces (23)…Finished fourth on the team in kills (309) and fifth on the team in kills per game (3.55). 1999 – Played in 17 matches as BYU won the NCAA Men’s Volleyball championship with a sweep of Long Beach State…Ranked third on the team with a hitting percentage of .416…Managed 101 kills (2.30 per game) and 55 total blocks (1.25 per game). 1998 – Played in just eight matches as a freshman…Still finished sixth on the team in blocks per game (1.25).

PERSONAL: Born Scott Ryan Bunker on April 27, 1976 in Escondido, Calif….Now calls Beaver, Utah, home…Parents are Jay and Nedra Bunker…Also has three brothers: Jamon, Derek and Travis; and one sister, Jodi...Father played basketball at BYU from 1971-73…Traveled to Madrid, Spain, as part of his Church of Latter Day Saints mission.
