21 blocks, 8 ace) as the United States went 8-3…On the season she was second on the
team in service aces (20) and kills per set (2.78), third in points per set (3.38),
fourth in total points (328) and fifth in blocks (41) and kills (270)…Plays
professionally for MRV/Minas in Brazil. 2002 - Won a silver medal at the 2002
Women's Volleyball World Championships…Started the first 10 matches at the World
Championships and averaged 12.3 points per match…Missed the gold-medal match
against Italy due to injury after leading Team USA to a perfect 10-0 record…Played
professionally for Radio 105 Foppapedretti Bergamo in Italy's Serie A1 for the

translates to "African Queen."…In 1988 she was honored by the Women's Sports

the nation's outstanding young female athletes.
