I Love It!

Volleyball, Bump, Set, Spike!
Volleyball, all you have to do is try
I love volleyball, it is my passion
When I be on the court, we all be smashin
The other teams, they talk trash
But on serve receive, they can't get a simple pass
The ball comes fast, the ball comes slow
The trick to the trade is to always stay low
Watch for the short tips, watch for the deep tips
And when you are front row on the net
Look for somebody that you can bust their lips
I know that sounds mean, but aggression is the way to be
Always keep your head in the game
If you mess up, we are a team
Don't think for one second that you are lame
Jump high and close the blocks
So when the other team hits, the hitter comes down in shock
Never get down on each other
Give high fives, show love to one another
I'm sorry to say my season right now is done
But deep down in my heart, it's really just begun
Nobody knows how much it hurts me not being able to play
But I will be the happiest one to see that day
That day I get to play, play, play
Somtimes I wonder why, and a lot of times I just sit and cry
What happened that day replays in my mind
It's just like stuck, it's just like stuck on rewind
There is nothing I can do but to accept this change and do how I do
I thank God that He has brought me this far
Once I play again, I will still reach for the stars.
It will be a challenge to get back to the level that I was at,
And I am willing to do anything to get there cuz I have a heart like that.
