USA JUNIOR BEACH TOUR SCHEDULE POSTED |

| USA Volleyball has announced the schedule for the 2008 edition of the popular USA Beach Junior Tour. Online registration begins March 1. The tour is produced and operated by the Elevation Group of Companies and is sponsored by Spalding and Hilton. The 2008 tour will include 10 exciting open events from coast-to-coast for all boys and girls two-person teams with players ages 10 to 20. There will also be an open championship, a tour championship, an international selection camp and a performance camp. MORE

Regardless of political preferences, USA Volleyball has a candidate that all volleyball fans can support. Vote for Karch Kiraly! As announced by the United States Olympic Committee, Kiraly (Santa Barbara, Calif.), the only volleyball player to win three Olympic gold medals, is one of 18 finalists for the USOC Hall of Fame Class of 2008. USA Volleyball's Junior Girls' Newsletter is seeking any interesting story ideas that exist in the volleyball community, whether it relates to activity on the court or off such as an athlete with great grades, giving back to the community, being presented with an award, possessing a talent other than volleyball or daughter of a well-known person. Please forward ideas to Bill Kauffman for possible inclusion in an upcoming issue.
Also, the Junior Girls' Newsletter is seeking outgoing junior club players willing to interview players or take candid photos at various tournaments, then share to the public within this online publication. Junior players can also submit blogs, journal entries or other various "In Their Own Words" articles (essays, poems, artwork). To submit an entry, send to Bill Kauffman.

Notes: This is an on-site IMPACT Clinic held at the Mid East Qualifier Tournament locations. Exact room TBD. On-site registrations accepted from 1-1:45 p.m. and doors will close promptly at 1:50 p.m. You must be in the doors at 1:50 p.m. to participate and remain until the 9 p.m. conclusion to receive certification.
