U.S. MEN'S SITTING TEAM PLAYS IN SARAJEVO OPEN |

The U.S. Men’s Sitting Volleyball Team recently returned from the Sarajevo Open, an eight-team tournament held in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina from May 25-27. With nine members of the squad returning from the 2006 World Championships Team that finished ninth in Roermond, The Netherlands, the team finished the tournament in eighth place.

Volleyball player Anita Moss, who represented the United States at the 1982 USOC National Sports Festival in Indianapolis, and the 1983 World University Games, will enter the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame officially on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Colorado Springs World Arena. An annual South Bay summer 4-man and 4-woman volleyball tournament has been renamed in honor of LMU's Kim Blankinship. The Kim Blankinship Memorial Volleyball Tournament will be held Saturday, June 30th at Knob Hill in Redondo Beach, Calif. Click here for more information.
